About the Owner
Hi, I’m Leitha Butler! My husband Jeff and I have been happily married for 46 years—we actually started dating when I was 13 and he was 14. We’ve been blessed with five children (4 sons and 1 daughter), four wonderful daughters‑in‑law, and six precious grandchildren. We both grew up in small towns near Huntsville, Alabama, and have called Huntsville home since 1991. Our vacation‑rental journey began in 1997 with our first cabin in Gatlinburg. Over the years we’ve also owned two condos in Panama City Beach, Florida. Sadly, our beloved Cottage Gardens Chalet was lost in the 2016 wildfires—but we found Summit Manor soon after and immediately fell in love with its amazing downtown location and views. Since 2001 we’ve proudly rented directly to guests, caring for each property as if we were welcoming friends.
